NOTICE: POSTPONEMENT OF ASMO NATIONAL ROUND CONTEST 2021

 

Refer to the statement above,

First of all, we would like to thank every school, teacher, parent, and student for your overwhelming support towards our ASMO contest. We wish to bring to your kind attention that we have made the difficult decision to postpone our National Round Contest 2021 due to unforeseen circumstances.

Currently, we have encountered errors in our Moodle platform. We are working closely with the IT developer to resolve the technical issue as soon as possible. Having spent the past few months preparing for the contest, we are genuinely upset and disappointed not to be able to carry on the contest on the scheduled date. ASMO contest will be postponed to 27th of November 2021 (Saturday) and 4th of December 2021 (Saturday).

We deeply apologize for any inconveniences that we might have caused with this postponement. We assure you that the ASMO National Round Contest will be held on the new dates aforementioned above. Please make necessary changes accordingly. Kindly refer to the attachment for the FINAL TIMESLOT.

MEMO : ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ASMO NATIONAL LEVEL 2021 COMPETITION

Refer to the statement above,

ASMO team would like to congratulate the students and schools on their results in ASMO State Round Competition 2021.

2. We will be conducting the next ASMO National Level 2021 competition through online platform in November 2021. Other than that, all students that achieve Medalist & Merit award in ASMO State Round 2021 competition are eligible to participate.

 

Please refer to the information below:

Registration date: 25th October 2021

Closing date for registration: 15th November 2021

  (No extension of registration will be allowed)

Registration Fee: Platinum and Gold award winners (will be sponsored by ASMO)

    : Silver, Bronze & Merit award winners (RM 50.00 per subject)

Competition date: starting on 20th November 2021 (competition date is based on subject and the online platform is open only one day for each subject).

Rules and Regulations (you will be disqualified from this competition if you don’t follow the rules)

I. Required equipment during the competition:

i. Personal computer, laptop, notebook

ii. Smartphone (need to open webcam and microphone to avoid students from imitating)

iii. Strong and stable internet connection

II. Further details regarding the competition date for each subject will be given after the registration is close.

 

3. The registration platform will be announced in near future and it can be made in ASMO official website at www.asmo2u.com. Teachers are advice to tick the student’s name only without refill the student details same like registration for ASMO State Round 2021.

         ASMO team has completed the final checking process of ASMO State Round 2021 competition result. It is pleased to announce the result has been officially released. Students and schools that have participated may check the result published on ASMO official website at www.asmo2u.com starting today.

         You are advised to use the computing device to access the results on the website. The use of mobile devices may not be supported.

         We truly apologize for the inconvenience occurs and please take care of yourself during this pandemic. Follow all the SOP issued by our government for our good. MEMO:  THE USE OF MINISTRY OF EDUCATION MALAYSIA LOGO IN COMPETITIONS

 

Refer to the statement above,

We would like to announce that this year 2021; the logo of Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) or Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) is not allowed to be used for the competitions such as in certificates and medals. ASMO team has determined this issue with MOE several times and if there is any competition to do so, it has violated the MOE policies.

2. However, the name of the Ministry of Education Malaysia or Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia is allowed to be written in the certificates and medals.

We would like to announce that the E-certificate for ASMO School Round 2021 is ready to print at our website www.asmo2u.com.
2. For those who registered for hard copy certificate for School Round and State Round, certificate will be send out together to your registered school address (School Category Participants) or home address (Individual Category Participants), expected by early November 2021. Due to ‘Pelan Pemulihan Negara’ phase 1 and 2 in Selangor, the printing company was closed and expected to be open by this month. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience cause.

            We would like to announce that ASMO State Round 2021 is now open for registration. Please grab your opportunity to the next round as fast as possible. Also, please note that only the teacher in charge is allowed to register.

 

            The registration platform can be made on ASMO official website at www.asmo2u.com at Registration > School Registration (State Round). The closing date for registration is on 15th August 2021. Teachers are advised to mark the list of the student's names only without refill the student details.

The time comes, we would like to announce that ASMO School Round 2021 Individual Participants is officially released. You may check the result at our official website www.asmo2u.com .

 

Please be advised, individual participants’ result is under Iomaths Centre. Please key in Iomaths Centre in the search box to narrow down the search result.

 

As for your additional information, participants who achieved Medalist or Merit are eligible to participate in ASMO State Round 2021. You may place your registration at www.asmo2u.com once the registration is open.

         We from ASMO team would like to congratulate the students and school on their results in ASMO School Round Competition 2021.

 

        We will be conducting the next ASMO State Level 2021 competition which will be held from 24th August 2021 till 26th August 2021. Other than that, all students that achieve Medalist & Merit in ASMO School Round 2021 competition are eligible to participate.

 

        The registration platform will be announced in the near future and registration can be done at ASMO official website at www.asmo2u.com. The closing date for the registration is on 15th August 2021. For State Round registration, teachers in charge don't need to refill the student's details, only need to tick the names of participants who will participate in ASMO State Round. The list of the names will be automatically displayed on the registration page.
